We may refer you to other services which do incur a cost. We will let you know if there might be any cost to you.

You can ask your health professional to return the referral to us.
The services from the Young Stroke Service are free and will not use your NDIS funding.
If you have NDIS support, we can help you find NDIS providers in your community. For example, if your plan includes a goal to drive again, we can help you get a driving assessment.
Our service does not take the place of other community services. We help you if you have finished stroke rehab but still need help, or if you cannot access a certain service.

Your intake appointment is with our clinical therapist.
You can do this in-person at the Melbourne Brain Centre in Heidelberg or by telehealth.
The appointment will take about 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
